We are a civil, non-profit institution that has as main goal to nationally coordinate all political-administrative actions of the member institutes giving juridical and accountant assistance and establishing technical standards aiming to an ethical and modern performance. We participated of the foundation as well of the first Directive Counsel of the ALICC - Asociación de Ligas Ibero-Americanas Contra el Cáncer (Ibero-American Leagues against Cancer Association) until 2002. We were present and participated of the creation of the Inca´s (Brazilian National Cancer Institute) Consulting Counsel at the Ministério da Saúde (Brazilian Health Ministry), and still remain as a Counsel Member entity.
Since August 1997, we are members of the Pan-American Health and Education Foundation of the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO).

In 2000, our association became member of the World Alliance of Cancer Research Organizations Committee, with head-offices at Philadelphia, USA. We are also associated to the America's Health Foundation with head-offices in Washington, USA.

ABIFCC performs its administrative, technical and fiscal activities through the following organs:

ABIFCC supports all its activities through monthly fees paid by its associates.

Our association promotes events that favors its affiliates´ human resources formation and recycling and also of Information Management System's update. We maintain an updated registry of our associates activities and deliver permanent expertise exchange in techno-administrative areas, spare parts and other regular products, so our institutions will not suffer in the continuity of their service.
