In the XXth century early decades, several philanthropic institutions were formed in various Brazilian cities.
Up to this date, these institutions support the medical attendance of cancer patients in its multiple aspects, mainly to those want of resources.

Struggling alone we faced great economical, social and political challenges, which always affected the health-care system in our country. After several attempts we managed, at last, to organize ourselves into an association, conscious to the fact that together we would be stronger, not only in our ideals but also in our actions and hence would even more dignify our so important labor.
